Is love a river? what love is, is a razor!
hey guys!
I know its been quite, it may have seemed like something was fishy, but here I am again, back to giv e you a taste of what music is to me and what it can be!
and this week tho I know it seems odd I have decided to cover love! love inspires some of the best music out there (links to some inbelievable love songs to come soon!)
the thing about love and love songs, they can inspire the deepest emotions that humans have, they can inspire a boy to feel for a girl or visa versa, it can inspire sadness, it can inspire forgivness, it is one of these genres that no matter who you are, what your tastes are you will be influenced by.
Sometimes the simplest songs are the most effective such as Moon River, a most beautiful songs, or the mpre complex things that have the same effect on us such as Teslas Love Song. these are both incredible, moving songs that can touch any persons hearts!
I hope this has helped you to see the light of the movement to love songs!
see y'all soon!

Well, well, well, its that time again!
Hey all RJ here,
and here we are again! and this week I have decided to look at an unconvetial threesome, the Finnish string threesome Apocalyptica. The name may sound "evil" and "angery" but in truth they are just three normal guys who like to play their cellos.
Having asked around it seems not to many people have actually heard of apocalyptica, but thats to be expected, they arnt the most amin stream band on earth!
so along with my artist of the Week here also provides me with the opportunity to introduce my audience to something new!
so here are my top three songs for Apocalyptica.
1. Hall of the Mountain king (Mozart cover)
2. Not strong enough (feat. Brent smith)
3. I dont care (feat. Adam Guntier)
ok so for now thats it! remember to comment, subscribe, follow question etc!
until next time guys!

so... nothing else matters?
Hey all! RJ here
seeing as last week I did the genre of rock I thought this week would be he geared towards one of the pioneering bands of the 20th and 21st century, and while they maybe controversial, they are an incredible incredible band, they surpass genres and are easily one of the most recognizable bands around METALLICA!
Metallica were formed in 1981 with the combination of Drummer Lars Ulrich, Guitarist/ Vocalist James Hetfield, guitarist Dave Mustaine and Bassist Ron Mcgovney.Mcgovney would leave the band in december 1982 to be replased by Cliff Burton.
Over the last two decades Metallica have released numerous albums, and have gone through several line-up changes, starting in 1982 when Ron Mcgoverny left opening the way for Cliff Burton, who died in a tragic tour bus accident in September 1986 in Sweden, he was replased by Jason Newstead who left in 2001, making him the longest serving bassist in Metallica, currently the postion of bassist it held by Robert Trujillo. Apart from this, Metallica has had two Guitarists, they formed with current Megadeath Vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine, he was quickly replaced by Kirk Hammnett in 1983 causing a huge rift between Mustaine and Metallica.
Thats all for today guys! tune in during the week to catch the album list that Metallica has released over the last 20 years!
See Ya Soon Guys RJ

ITS THE END OF THE WEEK AS WE KNOW IT!
hey guys RJ here,
well here it is the end of week one! so far I know I've been kinda lazy with it , but from here on in its time to get serious!
so for the first topic of the post!
basically music can evoke feelings, this I'll assume most of you know, but depending on the type of music, it will give you a differnet feeling. For some more aggressive music is gives a release, for some it makes them feel aggressive (la duh), but for the genre of the week "rock" which is an inbetween kind of genre it can vary, for one student Killian it " Gives a release from the normal stuff, its like my version of some peoples dance music." For some rock music gives the image of asimpler time, another student interviewed said it made them thinks of elvis and the 50's "because to me he founded the genre".
Now alot of people out there think that all rock sounds the "same" but to these people there seems to be one answer "I'd say there wrong, yes certain things sound similar, but look at the likes of pop" according to the words of one person " pop music is based on easy, catchy tunes, rock is more complicated, more instimental" now it strikes me at this stage that I maybe seen to be ragging on pop, but I'm not, it will get its fair time soon!
so I think for now, until next time this is it!
and remember music is as music lovers do... so be good music lovers!
